Where Leaders Connect^®

In October 2005, the first-ever CorporateConnections® Chapter launched in Montreal. Fueled by a vision to bring global leaders together, the foundation was laid to help high-performing professionals grow their businesses and themselves — through meaningful connections.

Under the guidance of Donald Morgan and Robert Gervais, CorporateConnections expanded organically across Canada. By 2009, seven Chapters had been launched, setting a strong cultural and operational blueprint for future growth.

As word spread through Members of our sister organization, CC began to take root in the United States. Over seven years, Chapters were launched in seven major U.S. cities, led by passionate local champions.

In Long Beach, California, 37 trailblazers gathered in what would become known as the “Secret Meeting at 11.” Hosted by Norm Dominguez, then CEO, (LinkedIn says US National Director) this moment catalyzed what was possible for the future of CorporateConnections. It became a defining chapter in our original story.

CorporateConnections took its boldest step yet. Graham Weihmiller officially brought Robert Gervais on board to take CC global and elevate the member experience. A full legal, financial, and operational infrastructure was built, transforming CorporateConnections from a movement into a company.

The first Global Convention was held that year in Long Beach, CA, where 25 leaders came together to shape the global roadmap.

Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates became our first European and APAC markets, marking our entrance onto two new continents. The global vision was no longer just a dream; it was real.

By January 2019, our Community stood at 132 Members. Just one year later, in January 2020, we more than doubled to 257 Members. When the pandemic struck, CC pivoted in less than 23 days, moving to a fully online experience and continuing to grow despite global challenges.

With continued expansion and success, our Global Convention grew exponentially. From 25 leaders in 2017 to now over 130 Directors globally, our footprint had never been stronger.

During the 2023 Global Convention in Mexico, CorporateConnections officially surpassed 1,000 Members and 55 Chapters worldwide — a milestone marking both scale and significance.

Africa joined the community with the launch of Kenya, making CorporateConnections present in 4 of 7 continents. 

We also introduced powerful tools to enhance our global impact: 

• CorporateConnections® Meeting Hub (our proprietary platform, now renamed) 

• The CorporateConnections® Mobile App (launched June 2024) connecting members in real-time, around the world.

Through our partnership with Kiva, CorporateConnections® has now financed 2,237 microloans, empowering entrepreneurs and uplifting communities globally. These efforts reflect our belief in leadership with purpose and being a catalyst for change.

In 2025, the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) hosted an impressive 480 Members and Directors from across the CorporateConnections community. This gathering marked one of our most powerful expressions of connection, learning, and global leadership to date.
